The Royal Roommate by P.G. Van

The Royal RoommateThe Royal Roommate by P.G. Van
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Life of royalty is not always a bed of roses. We find that they get everything easy. They are born with a silver spoon in mouth and live comfortably till death. But is it the case?

Amy is a happy go lucky girl living peacefully and pursuing her law degree. Her life takes a 180 degree turn on the fateful day when she helps a badly injured stranger. The stranger is a fugitive of another country. In come dashing Sid who pies on Amy due to this action of hers. He moves in as her roommate and falls in love with her the attraction is mutual and they start making out passionately. Then Sid finds out that Amy is royalty.

The book is essentially a romance of Mills and Boon variety. Some element of action and conspiracy is thrown in but central motif is romance. Chemistry between Sid and Amy is great and attraction is electric.

Some issues are apparent. The way he spies on Amy is reprehensible with total disregard to her privacy. Sid along with only one main helper takes on the enemy army. The story in last few chapters is rushed for no particular reason. It could have very well ended at their wedding and they lived happily ever after.

I give the book 3/ 5 stars.
